Back to Shepherd's Promise Church
As dawn's early light began to be visible over the horizon, Shepherd's Promise
church gathered on the sand at Deerfield Beach, Florida. We planted an empty
cross in the rocks at the water's edge to remind us that Jesus willingly let
himself be nailed to a cross. His love for us held him upon that cross. He
paid the price for our sins. He died on that cross.
We shared the wine and the bread, the communion symbols of the body and blood
of Jesus, given for us for the forgiveness of sin.
As we watched the sun rise, we were reminded that Gods Son also rose from the
dead. He conquered death so that we too may live forever, so that we may join
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Heaven for all Eternity.
